video: GoLocalTV: STEAM Box Looking to Send RI Students to Japan
Wednesday, March 16, 2016
Founded by Roberto Gonzalez, STEAM Box is a high school community resource in Providence which offers youth experiential learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, arts and math -- and now they're looking to expand their knowledge with a trip to Japan.
This summer, the plan is for a student from an elementary, middle and high school to travel to Japan to develop skills catered to their passions.
The organization has started a GoFundMe Page to help pay for this once in a lifetime trip.
