Tokyo, College Hill/Fox Point, Providence

Perfect walking distance for most Brown and RISD students, Tokyo has some of the freshest rolls with a very wide selection. Sakura Restaurant, College Hill/Fox Point, Providence

Haruki East/Wayland Square  + Haruki Express/College Hill, Providence 

Haruki East is worth the walk for a sit-down sushi experience—especially the college-student-popular tuna crisp or yaki-soba (stir-fried noodles). For speed, Haruki Express is ideal for Providence students, who can take out their favorite sushi, sit at the small tables, and even browse the cool stock of Japanese groceries. Sushi Go! Newport and Wakefield (good for Salve/RWU, URI students)

With two locations, Sushi Go! makes a stellar effort to cater to the South County college students who love their sushi. At each end of the night, pre-rolled sushi and edamame are 50% off to ensure freshness the next day, and to give back to the budget-conscious college students. Enn Sushi, Lincoln (good for Bryant students)

Located right down the street from Bryant, Enn Sushi serves both lunch and dinner. Make sure you check out the daily specials. For example, Monday is 2 for $35, including a bottle of wine or sake, 2 soups, 2 salads, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. Or, $5.00 glasses of wine every Wednesday. The best part—10% off for all Bulldogs.

Kabuki, Wakefield (good for URI students)

Kabuki has great deals for college students at any time of day. For lunch, you can get 3 rolls for just $10 from 11-3:30pm. Every night there is a happy hour food menu with sushi rolls at $4-$5 starting at 9 on Sunday-Thursday and at 10 on Saturday. These late-night, cheap eats are great with the restaurant staying open until 1:00am every night. And don’t miss the karaoke Thursday starting at 9 and the live DJ every Friday and Saturday.
