Sammy recently had his eye removed but he is still as cute as ever - because of his limited vision, he should go home without other pets or small children. Hazel

Meet Hazel! This 6 year old cutie is currently in a foster home while she awaits an adopter. Hazel loves nothing more than to cuddle up next to you for belly rubs! She recently recovered from a surgery on one of her ears (a Total Ear Canal Ablation) as a result of chronic ear infections. As of right now, Hazel does not need surgery on her other ear and she is doing well on daily medications. Potential adopters should know that Hazel is deaf, will require medication throughout her lifetime, and may need additional veterinary care in the future. She would love an adults-only home and gets along well with other dogs! If you're interested in Hazel, please give us a call and we can schedule a time for you to meet her.

Hi, my name is Samantha and to say the least I have had a VERY rough year. I was with my human from when I was little but when she died I was not welcomed into the families home and have spent a good amount of time alone in the home with just someone coming to feed me. Already and I showing my true self at the shelter loving being brushed (i was very matted) and talking to the staff. Come down and meet me and lets see if we click. Angela is my name, 5 years old is my game. Although I am intially a bit rough around the edges the staff at PARL have high hopes that out of the stress of the shelter I will return to my loving pre-shelter self. I was found alone in an apartment after my owner died so it has been a rough few weeks for me. Don't let my photo fool you, come down and ask to meet with me, I am holding fort in an office. My felinality is "Secret Admirer"- When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. Rubi & Nova

Nova is super quiet. When surrendered to PARL we were told that she loves to join you for catnaps and sit with you while you cook or fold laundry. Nova and her friend Rubi mostly keep to themselves. They will hang in the area you are in, but are not described as lap cats. With new people they hide at first, but after a little while they will slowly come out to sit back and observe. After meeting a person 2 or 3 times they start to warm up to them. They would prefer a home without young children and someone to be patient with them while they adjust. Nova's felinality is "Secret Admirer"- When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me but I'll be thinking a lot of you!
