Sunday, July 31, 2022
A new ceviche restaurant has opened in Providence.
With four locations already in Miami and Fort Myers, Ceviches by Divino calls itself a “Gastropub with an industrial vibe, an inviting and relaxed atmosphere, and a great place to hang out with friends while experiencing a new fresh and exciting approach full of Peruvian Flavors.”
The Rhode Island location opened this weekend at 11 Point Street — on the ground level of the River House Apartments along the Providence River.

A New Eatery Coming to Elmgove
The commercial block on Elmgrove Avenue on Providence’s East Side that already counts a deli (the Butcher Shop) and a donut shop (Knead) among its offerings appears it is going to add another food option to the mix.
The storefront that was the former home of the Alayne White Spa currently has a number of building permits posted.
One such permit shows that an electrical contractor has been allowed to install wire motors — for a kitchen hood.
In addition, a building permit has green-lighted the demolition of some existing interior walls.
It would mark the first time a full-service restaurant would be situated on the block.
Stay tuned to see the newest addition to the neighborhood.
