“Making our waterways accessible to all and enabling folks to experience watersports here in the Ocean State is our number one goal. This additional location allows us to do that for folks who may desire a more rural setting just outside of downtown Providence,” she added.
In addition to walk-up rentals, Providence Kayak offers reservations on providencekayak.com for those who wish to secure a specific date and time in advance. Rentals at Lincoln Woods are offered 7 days/week through Labor Day, from 11 am-5 pm on weekdays, and 10 am-5 pm on weekends. Single and tandem kayaks are available in either 45-minute or 90-minute time slots.
In addition to rentals, the company also offers guided tours of the Providence waterways at their Providence location.
Visit Providence Kayak at the Providence Marina at 15 Bridge Street, Providence, RI or at the Boathouse at Lincoln Woods State Park, Lincoln, RI from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
