Wexford President Berens to Speak at Annual Prov Chamber Meeting

The Providence Chamber of Commerce has announced that James Berens, President of Wexford Science + Technology will headline the 2015 Annual Meeting on Monday, November 23rd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The meeting is expect to attract nearly 700 of the state's top business and civic leaders. 

Wexford is a leading national real estate investment and development company that is sought after by communities across the country. Wexford collaborates with universities and hospitals across the country to create and build Knowledge Communities. 

Along with partner CV Properties LLC, Wexford is proposing to build a multi-phased innovation research center on former I-195 land parcels in downtown Providence as well as a South Street Landing redevelopment project in the Jewelry District.

Those attending the meeting will also hear from Governor Gina Raimondo; President of Brown University Christina Paxson; Peter Andruszkiewicz, Chairman of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce and President and CEO of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island; Chamber President Laurie White; and Thomas Osha, Managing Director of Innovation and Economic Development at Wexford.
