The Providence Chamber dinner featured the remarks from the Governor, talk of innovation, the Mayor of Providence, talk of innovation, a tribute to Bank of America's local boss, and Paul Salem of Providence Equity and his talk on innovation. But, the highlight of the night was a smart video produced by Providence-based advertising agency, (add) ventures who delighted the crowd with a 1:38 video that captured the potential of our future economy.

According to (Add) Ventures' Mary Sadlier, "The video showcases Providence's location as the "center of the center" of the Northeast/New England economy and it's geographic advantage of being in the sweet spot. The fast-paced video captures academic institutions, medical centers, research laboratories, product design firms, digital media companies and other creative companies."

The video featuries Broadway actor Dan Mills, a Cranston, RI native, walking the city, the video shows the excitement, promise and possibilities that Providence, and Rhode Island, affords. Mills sports an orange baseball cap, an homage to the orange in Providence's logo. The video was shot in 70 locations in 48 hours.

"I have never been more optimistic about Rhode Island's future because I have seen how this current class of government, business and education leaders can put individual agendas aside to do what's best for our State." said Steve Rosa, President and CEO, (add)ventures.
