Shechtman Halperin Savage Sells Default Practices Group to NC Firm

Brock & Scott, PLLC has extensive experience practicing in all aspects creditor’s rights, with offices in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Alabama and Florida.
“We are pleased to announce this positive and exciting change for our firm,” said Preston W. Halperin, Managing Partner at Shechtman Halperin Savage, LLP. “Our default practice group has been highly successful and we are proud of the client services we have provided. That said, we felt that the time was right to enter into an acquisition agreement as we are seeing a trend in consolidation of default practice law firms across the nation. This transaction gives us the ability to focus our efforts on our areas of recent growth, and continue to provide traditional legal services to our clients in all non-default practice areas, including civil litigation, government services, construction law, commercial real estate development, corporate law, municipal finance, solar and renewable energy, land use and zoning, receiverships, trust and estates, and family law.”
