An accident caused a car to flip over in East Providence early Saturday morning.

According to resident Christopher Moore, the incident on North Broadway "woke him up" - and he captured the aftermath shortly after 9 AM.

Moore said it was near the intersection of Alexander Avenue; public safety officials responded to the scene.

East Providence has had a speed camera program in place since 2021; fines have been issued in the city since 2022.

The city did not respond to the request for additional information regarding the accident at the time of publication.
