Hotel Dolce Villa

Long-time Federal Hill restaurateur and hotelier Gianfranco Marrocco has sold Hotel Dolce Villa, located in the heart of the longtime Italian neighborhood in DePasquale Square.

Marrocco has sold off a number of restaurants over the past few years. Marrocco is known as being both an innovator and sometimes controversial.

The buyer of the hotel is Providence Living -- the Providence-based development company that is led by Justin Dezube -- who is becoming a bigger and bigger player in development.

Sale price was $2 million.

Dezube recently bought the former Karma nightclub building and a neighboring parking lot. He paid $1.6 million for that property.

Lindsey Pettinelli of Churchill and Banks was the seller's broker.

Hotel Dolce Villa is located on charming DePasquale Plaza on historic Federal Hill- the "Little Italy" neighborhood in Providence, RI. Gianfranco Marrocco, the owner, also owns many other successful businesses throughout the city. With Marrocco's business experience, expectations and standards were set high when Hotel Dolce Villa was preparing for its grand opening and those standards haven't changed yet.

All rooms feature memory-foam beds. All room feature free WI-FI, some units have a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, pots, and pans, dishware, and flatware. Hairdryers and personal amenities (upon request), and some units have a safe for valuables in the closet.
