Closing Before the Holidays is Unusual

Most retail closings take place after the holidays when the retailer has generate significant sales. The closing of the Wayland store is also perplexing as that retail area has been on an upswing and recently added West Elm — an upscale home goods store and Pasta Beach restaurant.

Calls to Alex and Ani were not answered.
