A very busy weekend of events in Rhode Island. The Ocean State Curling Club is hosting a free demonstration, the 7th Annual Children's Film Festival gets under way and a huge basketball game Saturday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

Bring Your Own Improv is in it's 9th season. The show is an interactive show that is fun for the entire family and encourages audience participation. 

The show goes from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, military & Children 12 and under.

The Hunchback of Seville at Trinity Rep 

The Hunchback of Seville At the turn of the 16th century, Christopher Columbus has just returned from the new world with gold in his pockets and blood on his hands. Maxima Terriblé Segunda, the brilliant adopted sister of dying HRH Queen Isabella, is living out her life locked away in a tower... until it is decided that the future of the country is in her nerdy, reclusive hands.

4th Annual Frost Bite Bash 

Dance, eat and drink the night away at the 4th annual Frost Bite Bash held at the Herreshoff Marine Museum from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. 

The event will also include a live and silent auction among other activities.

#3 Villanova vs. #11 Providence 

The Providence College Friars host one of the top teams in the country at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Saturday when they tip off against Villanova. PC beat the Wildcats a couple of weeks ago in Philly and will look for the season sweep. 

Tip off is set for 2:30 p.m.

Newport Seal Tour

Go for a one or two hour tour through Newport Harbor and view 360 seals on Citing Rock off of Rose Island and the Newport Bridge.

A one-hour tour costs $22 for non members while a two hour tour costs $42 for non members.
