As part of the transaction, Marrocco will be opening a new Biergarten on Federal Hill.
The real estate sale represents an opportunity for Marrocco to refocus on his other properties but most of all spend more time and travel with his young children and his parents.
Marrocco and the Marrocco group have long been pioneers on Federal Hill and still own and operate 4 other businesses on Federal Hill including Caffe Dolce Vita, Gepettos, Hotel Dolce Villa and the soon to be new Biergarten.
Marrocco and his team will continue their commitment to Federal Hill and the hospitality industry with the opening of the Biergarten in mid November and soon new expansion at Hotel Dolce Villa.
All of the team members at Mediterraeno have been offered new positions amongst the expansion of the other properties, thus no one losing their job. Caffe Dolce Vita will be converting its menu in the next couple of weeks to feature long time favorites from Meditteraneo at new pricing.
The new owner of the real estate will soon announce a new tenant to occupy the space not leaving it vacant for long.
