Duffy Takes the Lead at the Providence Chamber

Jon Duffy, President of Duffy & Shanley, will succeed Bank of America President William Hartfield as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. Duffy will serve as the leader of Rhode Island’s largest business advocacy organization until September 2013.
Five new directors have also been elected to the Board: Peter Andruskiewicz, President and CEO of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island; Timothy Horan President of RI/NH, National Grid; Max Winograd of NuLabel Technologies, Inc.; Kenneth Levy, Senior Vice President of External Affairs at Johnson & Wales University; and Michael Lee, Managing Director of Santander Real Estate Capital, Sovereign Bank.

“The Chamber’s membership base and governing structure reflect diversity of opinion, geography and business model,” said Laurie White, president of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.
“I look forward to working with my colleagues on the Board to drive an action-oriented business agenda that fuels economic and entrepreneurial development and small business job growth throughout the region,” Duffy added.
