With more legacy media companies trimming back - we are excited to provide more content, more smart writers, and new partnerships.

“Now in our sixth year, GoLocalProv has done something that few digital local companies have been able to do - be a part of people’s everyday lives,” said Josh Fenton, CEO of GoLocal24, the Providence-based company. “Each day tens of thousands read GoLocal. And, our growth over the past year was up 22%. We really appreciate the confidence folks have put in us.”

In just the last couple of weeks, GoLocal was first to break the disturbing video of the Providence Police officer and first to report the change of leadership at City Hall and the State House. GoLocal was days ahead of the state’s largest newspaper on these stories.

“We know we have lots to improve upon. You let us know when we dropped the ball or got it wrong, but know we are committed to make our coverage better,” said Fenton.

Community Partnerships

GoLocalProv.com is constantly trying to promote great events in the community. One expample is our new partnership with the Jeffrey Osborne Celebrity Classic.

GoLocal is teaming up with Osborne and his team to help promote the great events to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for Rhode Island-based community organizations.

The best part of this program is that 100% of the dollars go to the charities. There are NO administrative costs.  The softball classic tickets at McCoy on August 8 start at $6 from children and seniors, $9 general admission. It will be a star-studded event not to be missed.
