Checking Out The Weekend Weather
While the overall summer weather pattern hasn’t changed very much since late June, the details have varied quite a bit from day to day.
That said, it looks like the pattern will remain the same through this weekend but, again, the devil will be in the details. We’ve had an influx of less humid air during the past 24 hours, but that will be on the way out today and tonight. So by tomorrow good old-fashioned summer heat and humidity will be back in the driver’s seat. However, the transition will mean clouds and the chance of showers and thundershowers scattered about through tonight into early tomorrow. So don’t be surprised if the weekend gets of to a cloudy, damp, murky start then the hazy sun, heat and humidity will take over and temperatures will rise to near or over 90 tomorrow afternoon. Then, another cool front will approach late in the day and that will increase the thunderstorm potential from late Saturday into Saturday night with the possibility of severe thunderstorms at a few spots.

Sunday looks like yet another transition day as the front moves off early in the day. With the return of at least partial sunshine, temperatures will recover into the 80s to near 90 and the humidity will begin to drop off once again. That bodes well for more comfortable weather to start the workweek.
So, it’s another one of those weekends with varied outdoor weather. You should find spots that will be good for outdoor activities such as the beach, golf, the pool, biking and cooking out. However, once again you’ve got to keep your “eyes on the skies” for those quick changes that may move through your area.
