Trailing 7-0, the Rams got a field goal from C.J. Carrick to cut Ohio’s lead to 7-3.

However, the Bobcats went on to score 10 unanswered points capped off by a 22-yard touchdown pass by Ohio’s Nathan Rourke to Tyler Tupa to give the Bobcats a 17-3 lead.

Rhode Island would get a field goal just before the half to cut the lead to 17-6.

In the second, it was more Ohio.

Rourke led a 10-play, 72-yard drive ending with a touchdown pass to Ryan Luehrman to give the Bobcats a 24-6 lead with 10 minutes left the third quarter.

URI quarterback Vito Priore connected with Aaron Parker on a 34-yard touchdown pass to cut the Rams lead to 24-13.

That is as close as URI would get as Ohio would score ten more unanswered points to take a 34-13 lead before going on seal the 41-20 win.

For the Rams, Parker hauled in nine passes for 144 yards, while Prior threw for 291 yards.
