Providence Beats DePaul, Return of Reeves Sparks 70-67 Win
Sunday, January 27, 2019
Super freshman A.J. Reeves has been out of the Providence College line-up for seven weeks. He returned Sunday at the Dunk and he finished the game with 11 points in very limited minutes. PC was just 4-21 from behind the 3-point line -- three of the 3s were by Reeves.
The Friars were 7-2 on the season when Reeves went down with a foot injury, but were just 5-4 without him.
The Friars were up 6 with the ball, but an offensive foul by Alpha Diablo and a Nate Watson foul on DePaul Max Strus shooting a three-pointer and hire hit all three free throws to cut the PC margin to three.

PC Leaders:
Alpha Diallo had 20 to lead the Friars and grabbed a team-leading 9 rebounds. Nate Watson played a big game down low with 14 points and five rebounds. PC outrebounded DePaul which was critical to the win.
DePaul was led by Paul Reed with 20 points.

The Friars led 33-27 at the half but within a minute of the second half, it was 33-33.
