PC Wins Third in a Row - Nearly Gave It Away in Final Minute

The Providence College men’s basketball team won its third game in a row.
It wasn’t easy. Repeatedly, the Friars appeared to be in complete control of the game — with six-point leads in the final minute and the ball, but Creighton repeatedly battled back, assisted by PC fouls and turnovers.

The Friars won at Creighton 79-76 when Austin Swartz missed a last-second 3-pointer. Jason Edwards added 18 points.
Jaylin Sellers functionally put PC on his back, scoring 27 points — 11 of 18 from the field.

PC led 39-37 at the half and led for much of the game — nearly 32 minutes.
The Friars shot 51% from the field and 42% from the 3-point line. The Blue Jays show 43% and 33%, respectively.
Creighton out-rebounded PC 37-31.
