PC Hockey Takes on Miami in NCAA Tourney, Will Play in Providence

The Providence College Friars men's ice hockey team will face Miami in the first round of the 2015 NCAA tournament. Providence is the number four seed in the East Region and will face the RedHawks at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence on Saturday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m.
Miami comes in as the number four overall seed in the tournament with a record of 25-13-1 on the season.
The Friars are making back to back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time in program history after finishing the regular season with a 21-11-2 record before falling to New Hampshire in three games in the Hockey East playoffs.

The 2015 NCAA Tournament begins with eight regional semifinal games followed by four regional final games from March 27-29 and concludes with the Frozen Four in Boston, Mass., on Thursday, April 9 (semifinals) and Saturday, April 11 (finals).
