The Friars are 15-19 all-time in NCAA Tournament games.

It will be just the ninth meeting all-time between the schools and the first in NCAA Tournament play. Providence is 6-2-0 all-time against the Mavericks, including a two-game sweep in October 2013 during the unveiling of the newly renovated Schneider Arena.

The winner will advance to the East Regional Final against either Cornell or Northeastern on Sunday, March 31 at 4 p.m.

Ticket information will be announced on Monday morning.
