PC Falls to Seton Hall — Drop to 4-10 in Big East

The Providence College men’s basketball team fell to Seton Hall on Wednesday night at home.

The Friars led for much of the game, but the Pirates made their move midway through the second half.

Seton Hall won 87-80.

The Pirates were led by Bud Clark who scored 31 points and added 8 assists.

It was turnovers that crushed the Friars — 18 for PC and just 5 for Seton Hall.

 

PC led 43-39 at the half.

Jaylin Sellers and Jason Edwards both led the Friars with 9 points each.

 

In the second half, the Friars last lead was 55-53 at the 13:45 mark.

And then the Pirates behind Clark took over the game.

The Friars were led by 23 by Sellers and 20 by Stefan Vaaks. Edwards only scored 2 points in the second half.

The Friars are now 11-14 overall and 4-10 in the Big East. PC is tied for last in the conference with Marquette. PC has six games remaining in the regular season.

Seton Hall improves to 17-8 and 7-7 in the Big East.
