Onetime North Kingstown Football Star Signs With the Ravens

It is about 360 miles from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, to Baltimore, Maryland, but the distance from the football field at NK High School to M&T Stadium, the home of the Baltimore Ravens, is a million miles further.

But Ty Pezza, the former North Kingstown star who played at Brown, has signed to attend the rookie mini camp with the Baltimore Ravens.

Those million miles are looking closer and closer.

Pezza was a Second Team All-Ivy League selection and Second Team Phil Steele All-Ivy honoree as a senior in 2025. He made the #1 slot on SportsCenter and took home a bundle of awards playing for Brown.

He led the Bears with 46 catches for 599 yards and seven touchdowns and ranked fifth in the Ivy League with 59.9 receiving yards per game. For his work in the classroom, he was an Academic All-Ivy selection, a CSC Academic All-District honoree, and an FCS ADA Academic All-Star

His signing comes despite four years on the Brown squad, which never had a winning record in the Ivy League.
