Cranston West LIttle League

Cranston West Little League has won the New England Championship 10-4 Over New Hampshire and advances to the Little League World Series for the second time in league history.

This marks the second straight year in which a Rhode Island team has advanced to the World Series and the third time in five years.

Cranston used a five run third inning, sparked by a Nick Mason grand slam to go up 6-2 and led 7-2 in the fourth before New Hampshire scored two runs over the next two innings to cut their deficit to 7-4 with just one inning left.

Cranston West would add three more runs in the top of the 6th, off of a Jake Bender three run double, to take a commanding 10-4 win and seal a trip to Williamsport. Cranston West out hit New Hampshire 13-5 in the game.
