Bryant to Open College World Series Against Houston

The Bryant Bulldogs baseball team will open up the College World Series against Houston in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Southeast Louisiana and hometown Louisiana State will join Bryant and Houston in the Baton Rouge Regional. A pair of best-of-3 series' determine which 2 teams advance to the regional finals, which is also best-of-3. The Regional groups were announced on ESPNU this afternoon.
Bryant advanced to the College World Series by winning the Northeast Conference Tournament and securing an automatic bid. Houston won the American Athletic Conference and also had an automatic ticket to the dance. Bryant finished the season with a 42-14 record, and the Cougars went 44-15.
