The Brown Bears football team looks to snap a two-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon when they host Holy Cross at Brown Stadium.

Brown enters the game with a record of 1-2 overall, while Holy Cross comes in with a record of 2-3.

Game time is set for 12:30 p.m.

Brown vs Holy Cross 

Saturday’s game will be the 61st all-time meeting between the schools, with Holy Cross leading the series 32-25-3.

However, the Bears have won four straight and five of the last six meetings between the teams.

Brown Offense

The Bears offense will look to build on what they did against Rhode Island last week in the Governor’s Cup.

Against URI, the Bears up 28 points and 550 yards of total offense in the game in large part due to the play of quarterback EJ Perry.

Perry accounted for 512 yards of total offense against the Rams.

On the year, he has completed 70 of 111 passes for 765 yards and six touchdowns. He is averaging 255 passing yards per game.

Emerson Logie and Jakob Prall lead the Brown receivers with eight catches each for 124 and 122 yards respectively.

Demitri Jackson has 12 catches for 109 yards.

Other than Perry, Allen Smith leads the rushing attack with 29 carries for 149 yards and two touchdowns.

Overall, the Bears defense has averaged 23.33 points per game this season.

Brown Defense

The Bears defense comes into the game giving up 34.33 points per game and 364 passing yards per game.

The defense is led by linebacker Michael Hoecht, who racked up five, and 1.5 sacks against URI.

He now has 15 career sacks, tied for fourth-most all-time at Brown.

Senior outside linebacker Brendan Pyne has recorded eight tackles against the Rams, while Elijah Pierre leads the defense with 4.5 tackles for loss.
