Boston Cannons to Hold Training Camp at Brown This Weekend
Thursday, April 14, 2016
The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) will host training cam at Brown University on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17. The Cannons will have two practice sessions over the weekend in the final prep for their season opener in Charlotte on April 23.
“We are excited to bring the Cannons to Rhode Island. We have a strong fan base in Rhode Island Youth Lacrosse and this is a great opportunity to bring our team to their community. The youth clinic and open practice will be a wonderful opportunity for our coaches and players to share instruction and pass along knowledge of these up-and-coming Ocean State players,” said Cannons Vice President and General Manager, Kevin Barney.
On Saturday, April 16 the practices will feature events for kids starting with a free youth clinic at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 12:30 a.m. Kids 8-14 years old are welcome to participate and check in will open at 10:30 a.m.
