Gratitude. That’s where I land.

Slowly been processing the news that after over 11 years, the run at ABC6 is done. Probably hasn’t fully hit yet, and I’m sure it will, but that’s okay. Because I’m nothing but grateful.

Came to Providence in February 2014 as a kid still working on living his dreams. Little did I know, that kid would grow into a guy who would get to live those dreams. Super Bowls, World Series, NBA & Stanley Cup Finals. NCAA Tournaments & National Champions. We’ve been lucky.

Living those moments & capturing those priceless memories with two of the best, couldn’t be thankful enough.

Ken Bell. Showed me the way. A tremendous mentor, a good friend & the definition of legend.

Ian Steele. I always said “best partner in the business” and I meant it. So very proud of the work we did together as a team. We shook it up. We shared great stories. We lived those moments together. I’m so glad we get to be friends now. No more swapping schedules. You’re a brother for life & I love you buddy.

And how about all the tremendous people who came through “The Big 6” over the years?! Whether it was in the studio (especially Hall of Famer John DeLuca), reporters, directors, producers, photographers, engineers. Thankful to have worked with you all.

Lastly, man, I love Rhode Island. It’s become a second home. The people, the communities, the places. I’m emotional thinking about how much they all mean to me. Life here is & continues to be wonderful. Will be around for sure. Still have that radio show, those games at Brown & those great students at URI.

Big picture, no idea what the future holds, but for now, it’s reset, reload and look forward to new adventures.

Thank you.
