A "Trump Rally on the Water" has been scheduled for Rhode Island on Sunday, August 23, on the heels of other "Trump flotillas" across the country.

"Looks like we will be meeting up on the water right outside the Newport Bridge and the parade will head North towards Bristol and go a little past Colt State Park," says the "Let's Turn the Bay Red" Facebook page.

"This is a nice big space, perfect for boats to turn around or hang out if they chose and also great for our on land viewers to view from the park which has plenty of parking and open areas to see from. Look for the Trump flags," event organizers continued.

"Supporters of the President and Opponents Faced Off at Montauk Flotilla," reported the East Hampton Star, when a boat parade of Trump supporters gathered in the Hamptons in early August.

In Oregon, a Trump flotilla made headlines recently when a small boat was swamped by boats racing by.

"Screaming family are forced to jump from their sinking boat into Oregon river after 20-boat Trump flotilla sends water flooding into their tiny vessel," wrote the Daily Mail.

Rhode Island's event organizer wrote on Facebook that the "Coast Guard" has been contacted about the event.
