BREAKING: Sharron Angle Coming To Rhode Island Wednesday

Sharron Angle, the Tea Party Republican who lost a close race to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid last November, will visit Rhode Island Wednesday, GoLocalProv has learned.

Angle will be a part of the Tea Party Express national bus tour, which makes it way through New England this week. The bus will make its Rhode Island stop in North Kingstown, where dozens of local Tea Party groups are expected to gather.

The Tea Party Express is gathering today in New Hampshire where Sarah Palin is expected to speak.

State Rep. Doreen Costa called Angle's visit a win for Rhode Islanders.

"It's very exciting to have her here in Rhode Island," Costa said. "It's a victory for our little state."
