1. What do you think is the biggest political issue this campaign season in Rhode Island?
The coronavirus. The pandemic has changed everything from the economy to life itself. Government must be agile in its reaction to the ramifications of the virus’ impact on society.
2. What do we need to do to improve Rhode Island's economy?
We must continue to create employment for the unemployed. Whether it’s getting people back to work safely or creating tax-incentivized opportunities for new and existing businesses, full employment is the only way this economy works for all Rhode Islanders.
3. What is the greatest challenge facing Rhode Island as a state?
Creating a diversified economic climate that is sustainable in both good and bad economic times so that the poor and disadvantaged are cared for while all that can work have an opportunity for a good paying job.
4. Why are you running for office? What makes you uniquely qualified?
I am running for office because I feel an obligation to give back through public service. I am qualified due to my education and my professional experiences as a lawyer, judge, and former prosecutor in the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General.
5. Who is your inspiration?
My inspiration is to have my life make a difference in this world. President John F. Kennedy is my hero and 57 years later he is still inspiring me and millions of Americans as to what good political leaders can do to change the world we live in one day at a time.
