4.  Why are you running for office? What makes you uniquely qualified?

I am running for office to improve the lives of my constituents and the citizens of Rhode Island. The issues that I have focused on are education and health care. I am uniquely qualified as a retired urban teacher and administrator.

5.  Who is your inspiration?

My inspiration comes from President John F. Kennedy who challenged our nation to answer a call to public service. I am also inspired by the late Governor Bruce Sundlun who stated "we have three stages in our lives. We learn, we earn, and then we serve." I am retired and am dedicating my life to service to my community. A community state and country that has given so much to me.
