WWII Army Vet, Frank E. Giordano, of North Providence, Passes at 95

Frank E. Giordano, 95, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 1, 2021. 

He was the loving lifelong partner of Regina Correira of North Providence.  

Born in North Providence, he was the beloved son of the late Vincenzo and Carmina (Cardente) Giordano.

He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII in the European Theatre.  Frank was employed by the US Navy at Quonset Point as a mechanic for many years before retiring.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, rooting for the New York Yankees, traveling, and gardening.

He is survived by his devoted sister, Hilda Giordano, cherished nieces, Sharon Petrone, Sandra Clark, Janine Giordano, Lisa Giordano, and Marisa Schasal, and his godson and nephew, Anthony Giordano. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.  He was the brother of the late Anthony Giordano and Mary Clark.

Visiting hours Thursday, May 6th from 9-10:30 am at the A. A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.

Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
