Samuel P. Babcock, of South Kingstown, Dies at 29

Samuel P. Babcock, 29, of South Kingstown, passed away Monday, January 10th. 

He was the husband of Lauren (Cocci) Babcock. Born in Warwick, he was the son of Jerry Babcock and Lisa (Sherman) Babcock.

Sam was a 2010 graduate of South Kingstown High School. He was a machinist at Design Machine. Sam loved spending time with his dog Boots.

Besides his wife and parents, he leaves behind his daughter; Michelle Grace Babcock and his paternal grandmother; Susan Babcock, as well as several uncles and many cousins. He was pre-deceased by his brother; Matthew Babcock and his maternal grandparents; Stuart and Grace Sherman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 15th at 10 am in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Rd, Charlestown.

Burial to follow in Perryville Cemetery.
