Obituary: Phone P. Phivilay, Passes at 56

Phone P. Phivilay, 56, of Douglas Circle, Greenville, died Monday at Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of Dalom (Khimpanh) Phivilay.

They had been married for 38 years. 

Born in Laos, the ninth child out of twelve, of the late Phila and Sivilay (Banouvong) Phivilay. He was a refugee of the Vietnam Conflict and settled in the United States in 1981.

He had lived in Greenville for 27 years.

He had been an Electronic Technician for IPG Photronics in Oxford, Ma. 

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Linnia Phivilay of Smithfield and her partner, Jose Teixeira; Sommano L. Phivilay of Katy, TX; and Somphonh P. Phivilay and his wife, Pasine (Rojrattana) Phivilay of Katy, TX; and two grandsons, Abhijat P. Phivilay and Joseph M. Teixeira. 

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 am in the Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville. Visitation Friday 4-7 pm.
