He was the husband of Cynthia Mello-Wolz.
Born in Newport, he was a son of George J. Coite Jr and Patricia Ann (Souza) Coite. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children: George J. (Brianna) Coite IV; Thomas Coite, and Angelica Coite. He was the brother of Angela Santiago, Michael LaDuke, Devin Coite, and Aaron Fitzgerald and uncle of Justin Santiago, Alicia Santiago, and Tianna Santiago.
