Elaine M. (Plante) Diefenbach, of Johnston, Dies at 71
She was the beloved wife of Richard W. Diefenbach. Born in Central Falls, Elaine was the daughter of the late William J. and Yvette M (Dumont) Plante.
She worked in Human Resources at the Providence VA Medical Center for 41 years.

Diefenbach of Johnston and Bryan Diefenbach of Pawtucket, and his wife Ayla. Elaine was the cherished grandmother of Taylor, Arianna, Cooper, Riley, Brandon, and Makenzie. She was the step-grandmother of Aiden and Harlyn. She is also survived by her brother Richard W. Plante and his wife Lucille of Cumberland.
Visiting hours will be held in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, March 30th, from 5-8 p.m.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Catholic Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence.
Burial, with Military Honors, will be held in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
