Civil Air Patrol Pilot During WWII, Mary V. Trainor, of Warwick, Dies at 94
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Earl J. and Eva M. (Hughes) Morrison, she was a lifelong Warwick resident.
Mrs. Trainor was a nurse’s aide at the Eleanor Slater State Hospital. She was a union steward for AFSCME and was a pilot for the Civil Air Patrol during WWII.
She leaves two sons, Thomas A. Trainor, Jr. of Grafton, MA, and Kevin P. Trainor of Greenville; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was the mother of the late Michael F. Trainor and Maureen V. Andrade; sister of the late Claire Lord, Dorothy Parenteau, and Earl J. Morrison, Jr.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 9 am from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick at 10 am.

Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet.
