Bridget "Eleanor" (Kelly) Bennett, of Narragansett, Dies at 84

Bridget "Eleanor" (Kelly) Bennett, 84, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully at her home on April 19, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Herbert Paul Bennett, Jr.

Born in Northern Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Sarah Mae (Heaney) Kelly.

Eleanor was a realtor with Bay Realty for over thirty years.  She enjoyed gardening, hosting get-togethers, and the company of her many friends that she loved baking Irish bread for. Eleanor loved to travel back to Ireland regularly to visit her family.

She leaves her son, Herbert Paul Bennett, III and his wife Emily of Narragansett; her siblings, Eilish McKenna of England, Patrick Kelly, Eamon Kelly, Roisin Mulholland, and Mark Kelly all of Northern Ireland; four grandchildren, Rigby, Kylee, Brayden, and Torin Bennett; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  She was the sister of the late Maeve Cormican and Bronagh McKenna.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 10 am in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett.

Burial will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

Visiting hours: Monday from 4-7 pm in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory – South County Chapel, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett.
