Anne T. (Leddy) Smith, of Coventry, Dies at 72

Anne T. Smith, 72, of Carley Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at HopeHealth, Providence, RI.

Born on April 4, 1948 in Providence, RI, she was the wife of the late Kevin J. Smith and the daughter of the late William F. and Anna (Coleman) Leddy.

Anne was a realtor for Re/Max, Coventry, RI for many years. Prior to that, she worked with mentally and physically disabled children and adults. She enjoyed being with her family, traveling to New Hampshire, and spending time at her favorite beach.

Anne is survived by four children; Jenna Carey, Danielle Jones, Nick Smith, Stephen Smith and his wife Juliana and two grandchildren; Alexander Carey and Megan Carey. She was predeceased by a brother; William Leddy and two sisters; Barbara Forsythe and Bernadette Gillette.

Calling hours will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm from the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI.

Burial will be private.
