During a court hearing in Chicago on Tuesday, prosecutors decided to drop all charges against the 'Empire' actor Jussie Smollett.

Calling it “a whitewash of justice,” Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel tore into the decision.

The actor will forfeit the $10,000 he posted for bond as part of a deferred prosecution deal.

Prosecutors previously alleged that Smollett hired two men to stage a hate crime against himself.

Smollett has maintained his innocence from the beginning and pleaded not guilty to 16 felony counts on March 14.
