Suspect in Fatal Shooting in N. Attleboro Found Dead of Apparent Suicide in RI, According to DA

The suspect in a deadly shooting on Saturday in North Attleboro has been found dead in Charlestown, Rhode Island, according to the Bristol County District Attorney. 

According to the DA’s office, the “active search” began for Steven Fregeolle, 32 of Johnston, RI for the homicide of Brandi Berg in North Attleboro on Saturday night in the Fashion Crossing Plaza on Route 1.

On Sunday, Fregeolle was reportedly found in Charlestown.

“The suspect in last night’s homicide in North Attleboro has been found deceased — the victim of an apparent suicide,” wrote Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III on Twitter. 

“We would like to thank our law enforcement partners in Rhode Island for their assistance in this tragic case,” said Quinn.”
