Snow in Forecast for Tuesday Afternoon - Up to 2 Inches Possible

There is snow in the latest forecast from the National Weather Service (NWS) for Providence on Tuesday.

According to NWS, snow is expected to start Tuesday afternoon, and several inches could accumulate. 

Snow is also possible Wednesday morning, says NWS.

A slight chance of snow after 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 33. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

 

Tuesday Night

Snow, mainly before midnight. Low around 26. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

 

Wednesday

A slight chance of snow before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind around 6 mph.

Partly sunny, with a high near 34. Northwest wind 6 to 9 mph.
