Rhode Island native and former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn has reportedly purchased a home in Boca Royale, Florida.

According to Sarasota Magazine, Flynn, a retired United States Army lieutenant general and his wife purchased the house at 71 Grande Fairway in Englewood for $545,000 — well below the list price of $879,900.

“The Flynns have relatives in Boca Royale,” writes Robert Plunket for Sarasota Magazine. “Two of his brothers live here, though not Charles, who was the general involved in the Army’s response—or lack thereof—to the Capitol riots.”

“That will come in handy as there isn’t much to do in Englewood and it’s a long dark drive home from the Asolo or the Opera,” he went on to write. “But I have a feeling there are a lot of MAGA meetings going on, and it’s an easy drive over to Mar-a-Lago, should the occasion ever arise.”

Last November, Trump pardoned Flynn, who pleaded guilty three years ago to lying to FBI agents.

The Flynns, who hail from Middletown, continue to be in the news.

Another brother of Flynn sued CNN in federal court for $75 million in March.

As GoLocal reported, “Jack Flynn and his wife Leslie claim they were defamed by a CNN report last month alleging they were members of the conspiracy group QAnon. “
