RIPTA to Run Sunday/Holiday Service Schedule On New Year’s Day

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will run on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Tuesday, January 1 in observance of New Year’s Day.
According to RIPTA, the following service changes will also occur on New Year’s Day:
- Flex Services, including Rte. 210 Kingston Flex Service, will not be available
- The statewide Ride Program will operate only ADA trips.
- Regularly scheduled Flex and RIde service will resume on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

Offices Closed
RIPTA offices, including the photo identification and ticket sales offices in Kennedy Plaza will be closed.
Also, the flex service reservation line and the ride reservation line will be closed.
RIPTA offices will return to regular business hours on Wednesday, January 2.
