Pawtucket Man Arrested for Murder Outside Boston’s Prudential Center

Boston Police have arrested Pawtucket resident Phillip Foy. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on charges of Murder, Armed Carjacking and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

According to Boston Police, at about 11 am on Tuesday, officers responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 120 Huntington Avenue in the South End.

“On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Officers on the scene received information that the suspect had fled the scene in a taxi cab. Quick response from a detail officer in the area allowed officers to locate the taxi cab and subsequently the suspect who was placed under arrest in the area of 1 Ring Road in the Back Bay,” according to Boston Police.
