Trump's comments early this morning came soon after explosions were heard across central Tehran. One apparent strike hit near the offices of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran is preparing a “crushing retaliation,” an Iranian official told Reuters.

 

According to multiple reports, U.S. and Israeli attacks hit targets across Iran.

 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday issued a video message to the public after Israel and the US launched a wave of strikes against Iran, saying the operation aims “to remove the existential threat” posed by the Islamic Republic, and “create the conditions” for Iranians to change their destiny.
