NEW: Risk of Thunderstorms, Damaging Winds, Hail Saturday in Rhode Island

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Rhode Island -- and parts of Massachusetts and Connecticut -- for Saturday afternoon and evening. 

NWS is warning of a risk of thunderstorms with "damaging winds" -- and hail. 

In addition, there is a "low probability" for an isolated tornado, according to NWS.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Connecticut, all of
Massachusetts east of Berkshire County, and Rhode Island.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a risk for isolated to scattered thunderstorms capable of
producing strong to damaging straight-line winds and hail this
afternoon and evening. There is also a low probability for an
isolated tornado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Another round of isolated to scattered thunderstorms is expected
Sunday. The main threats will be strong to damaging straight-line
winds and hail.
