Rhode Island Records 23 More Coronavirus Fatalities — 2nd Deadliest Day

The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 23 additional coronavirus fatalities over the past day in the state, bringing the state’s total to 1,625. 459 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 according to the state, with 56 people in the ICU.
Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo and officials will be LIVE at 1 PM on Friday for their weekly coronavirus press conference.

Raimondo and officials are expected to address the issue of vaccines, after issuing a statement on Thursday regarding Rhode Island now being slated to receive fewer doses than had been anticipated.
