Man Stabbed in Providence — Victim in Serious Condition

A man was stabbed in South Providence on Sunday morning.
According to police, the victim is currently in serious condition.

Police say that upon arrival, they encountered a male victim — aged 49 — who was bleeding from his stomach with an apparent stab wound.
There was a trail of blood from Elmwood Avenue to the location, according to police.
The victim was transported by rescue to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
Police say the victim is in serious condition.
Detectives are currently investigating.
